Medical Care
Our Provision
Healing Hands Health Center provides comprehensive primary care for adults by appointment only including:
- Treatment for minor acute illnesses like bronchitis, sinus infections, influenza and urinary tract infections
- Ongoing care for chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, allergies, thyroid disorders and high cholesterol
- Preventive medical care like flu shots, screenings for cancer and diagnostic tests for chronic illnesses
- Assessment of mental health concerns and limited services like medication management and short-term therapy
Additionally, Healing Hands Health Center offers:
- Assistance obtaining free medications
- Referrals for some reduced cost medical specialists
- Health & Wellness programs
- Physicals
Healing Hands Health Center DOES NOT provide:
- Emergency or Urgent Care
- Prenatal Care
- Immunizations (except for flu shots)
- Routine Gynecological Exams
- Narcotics Prescriptions
Eligibility Guidelines
In order to schedule an appointment, you must first know the eligibility guidelines. The guidelines include:
- Reside In: Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia
- Patient and/or someone in their household must be employed or have worked in the last 12 months, unless they are retired or a student
- Have NO Medical, TennCare/Medicaid or Medicare Insurance
- Not eligible for free/charitable care elsewhere
- Total Household Income May Not Exceed 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
